Charlotte & Saif's wedding at The Royal Festival Hall!

I have to admit that I was just a teeny bit terrified of doing this wedding...driving into central London is not something I do everyday and having never met the bride before the big day I was a little bit nervous that I would interpret the brides ideas accurately from one conversation!! As it turns out, it was actually easier to drive into central London than it is to negotiate the one way systems in Nottingham and Charlotte was over the moon with everything I created. I breathed a sigh of relief and had a great weekend...they were such a gorgeous couple and the venue was amazing with views over the Thames and the London Eye right next door!! The day was captured by the amazing  Lee Garland and his second shooter Jade Alana..I have 3 more weddings to show you that I have worked on with Lee since then so get ready for some gorgeous images!! Hope you enjoy!

Charlotte chose a gorgeous bouquet of white hydrangeas, lilacs, roses and ranunculus with a white lace handle and vintage brooch...

Simple clouds of gypsophilia looked stunning for the ceremony.

Behind the cake I created a wall of lace hoops...

The tables looked so fresh with the white and green floral arrangements and silver and pearl accessories...

Congratulations to Charlotte & Saif and thanks to Lee and Jade for being such a pleasure to work with!x

Spring Fever!

I absolutely love it when the Spring flowers arrive at the market. All of a sudden I feel inspired to create fresh new arrangements in simple white and pastel shade containers and fill every room in my house with Spring colour and scent!
I love the gorgeous sherbert shades of ranunculus, the fragrance of pastel hyacinths, happy looking daffodils and tulips that seem to bow and wave in a friendly fashion!
After a cold, dull winter, what could be better than a wedding full of colour and scent, touched by the first soft rays of Spring sunshine?
I love to bring the outdoors in...last year I raided my garden for these lovely cherry blossom branches which made a lovely feature in my living room until my husbands hay fever kicked in...I tried to persuade him to take one for the team but I lost and the cherry blossom returned to the garden!

Cherry blossom can look amazing for larger table centrepieces to make a statement but it also looks great as smaller cuttings in simple enamel jugs and jars...

Late Spring sees the arrival of gorgeous peonies which always look dreamy and romantic ...if only they were available year round!
