Bicycles, Braces and Bow-ties...

A few months ago I worked on an amazing shoot with some super talented suppliers in the grounds of Thrumpton Hall. It was all about bo-ho, braces, bow ties and some gorgeous bikes belonging to our amazing photographer Lee Garland. We were so pleased to have the shoot featured on Rock my Wedding! You'll find a full list of suppliers after these gorgeous images sent over by Lee...

I created this lace canopy for the outdoor table setting and used hessian on the table to give a rustic feel to the shoot. I painted wooden boxes on the table in a beautiful mint colour (which I think is going to be a really popular colour in 2013!) and filled them with coral and cream roses, dahlias and peonies and mint succulents with lots of silvery foliage and thistles. I even made bow tie style napkins to match the groom and page boy's accessories! Lots of wooden crates and an old barrel for the yummy punch added to the rustic style.

Hope you enjoyed this shoot as much as we did and feel inspired to re-create a relaxed outdoor style for your big day! Hopefully the British weather will improve so that we can see more outdoor weddings!!

Whatton House & Gardens Wedding Open Day

Firstly, let me apologize for my poor blogging recently! It has been such a busy summer of weddings but, on the plus side, I now have lots of loveliness to share with you over the next few weeks! I thought I'd start with some piccie's from the first wedding open day at Whatton House & Gardens organised by the lovely ladies at Save the Date Magazine. It is such a beautiful venue and the gardens are stunning! A gorgeous vintage pole marquee was on site provided by Bond Marquees and also a tipi by Peak Tipis. So here are a few images of the tables I dressed and my stand...

Gorgeous stationary on my table in the tipi was provided by Dottie Creations...

Hope you feel inspired to go and visit this lovely venue!
